That leaves my hands free for carrying things and I can also wear a backpack with toys and reading materials. I also squeeze the diaper bag into said backpack for getting through security and onto the plane. <br /><br />I've traveled with my six month old on three plane rides, and each time has been a bit different. The first trip (8 weeks) I just let him nurse and sleep on and off. The last trip (6 months) was more challenging because he was awake for nearly an hour and a half.
